I have read a number of books by this author that I really enjoyed and when I read the blurb for this one, I got really excited. I mean “rock stars” are a definitely a weakness of mine…Add the words “rough and damaged” and I am sold! I couldn’t wait to open this baby up!

When I read book 1 in this series, one person stood out for me and that was Finn, so I was really looking forward to reading his story. I was very excited jumping into this one but when I did…I got so confused…

I didn’t understand what was going on, and it felt like I was thrown into the middle of a story and missed the beginning…Maybe I should have read book 1 again before starting this one, but since it hasn’t been that long, I didn’t figure it necessary…my bad. So it took me some time to really get into this one…

This was some unexpected story, for me at least.This book it divided into two stories, completely different but at the same time completely the same. Since it’s my first read of this author, I didn’t know what to expect, but I was pleased…I don’t know if it was me, my mood, or the book itself…For me was just the right book at the right moment.

This is the tenth book in this series, and so far I have enjoyed every one of them…that’s pretty impressive!!…The blurb of this one reminded me a bit of  “The Wallbanger” so I was pretty curious…Reed, another Cold Fury hockey player, has been very busy keeping his next door neighbor up, with his antics.

Oh, My God!!!…This book is officially the sweetest book that I ever read. I fell in love right away…I savored every word.

Two or maybe three years ago, my friend Ralu insisted that I should read…Alluring Indulgence series and Club Destiny series by Nicole Edwards. Obviously, I postponed them and read them much later…I was so very sorry that I did that and don’t read them earlier…I loved this two series!

Some people say that at some point you get bored because she describes a lot and gives a lot of details. But NO WAY. She can write to the sky and to the stars. Every single word of hers is like a tiny little piece of a giant puzzle. You savor every detail and every word.

My God this woman can write. And the hot stuff…damn…I could’ve melted the Antarctica. 😀

I started this series a long time ago and I loved the first couple of books.

Somehow along the way, I lost track of it and now it seems I skipped a couple of books. No worries though.. I will be rectifying my mistake. 😉

I am known to read my books out of order and I had no problem reading this one as a standalone…but…I would still advise everyone to read the previous books first. A lot of characters from those books, make an appearance and Lucas also played a part in the previous book. So I think it would make the reading experience better if you do. 😉

I am a huge hockey fan… I have no idea how this came to be, but big men with huge hockey sticks really do it for me. 😛
