The camping trip from hell may be the first stop on the road to happily-ever-after.
Navy SEAL Renzo Bianchi has a soft spot for Canaan Finley, and not only because the man makes a mean smoothie. He’s the first guy to get Renzo’s motor revving in a long time. But when he agrees to Canaan’s insane charade—one all-access fake boyfriend, coming right up—he never expects more than a fling.
Creating a hot Italian SEAL boyfriend to save face seemed like a good idea…until his friends called Canaan’s bluff. Now he’s setting off into the woods with the very man who inspired his deception, and Canaan is not the outdoorsy type. The sparks are already flying when a flash flood separates them from their group, leaving Renzo and Canaan very much trapped…very much alone in the wilderness.
Working together to come up with a plan for survival is sexier than either of them expects. But back in the real world, being a couple is bringing its own set of hazards…

Torch (Unbreakable Bonds #3)

by Jocelynn Drake and Rinda Elliott

*****5 stars*****

30169169This book was much expected. I loved the first 2 books in this series and I had a feeling Torch it’s going to be Rowe’s story. Mel’s death broke my heart and I couldn’t shake the feeling Rowe will have a hard time to fall for someone again.

I would lie if I’d say it was as wonderful as I expected it to be, but I liked it very much, it kept me glued to the pages AND I love these author’s writing style.

Image result for gif painful menI missed these hot men a lot! Lucas and Andrei are still my favorite couple so far. It was great visiting them all again AND be in Rowe’s mind. Even if he was married for so long and loved his wife with all his heart, he found himself checking other men. But he never felt like act on it. Things were different with Noah.

Noah came back in Rowe’s life after many years of keeping the distance. They were close friends but one night, long time ago, changed their friendship forever. Now, Noah wants to be close to Rowe again and prove they still have something going on.

The chemistry is undeniable and they are still very attracted to one another. But is it enough? Can Rowe let himself feel something more for someone else? A man?
All their lives are now in danger and when they find out who is after them, the fear and guilt may change their lives once again.

I can’t wait for Hollis and Ian’s story. I’m sure it’s going to be very HOT and maybe they will all find their well deserved peace and HEA!

Pansies (Spires Universe) by Alexis Hall

5 HUGE stars           20422553

Another amazing story by Alexis Hall! I was hooked from the first pages. I loved every chapter, every word. His writing style is. JUST.PERFECT!

I have no words to describe how much I love it!  This story had it all: broken dreams, drama, family problems, but also it had hope, forgiveness and so much sweetness!

Image result for gif painful menAlfie was so sweet and kind. He is not happy even if it seems he has it all: an expensive car, an amazing house, a great job in London, great friends. But he feels he wants more, needs more. Then he meets this interesting stranger with long blonde hair and pink strands and he is drowning to him. This stranger seems to have some unexpected secrets he will expose after one HOT night together. And everything changes for both of them.

This story felt pretty real to me. I really do believe people can change so much over the years. My heart ached for Alfie when he felt miserable for everything he was and did when he was a teenager. I understood his frustrations regarding his mistakes from the past.

Fen – what a broken and complicated character he was. The letters he was writing to his mother broke my heart. My heart ached for his awful early years. He wanted so much to be strong, but he really needed Alfie in his life – Alfie’s presence to heal him.

I really loved this story and I felt it is closer to Glitterland than For Real. I’m sure I will re-read it because it was so sweet and went directly to my heart!

“And Fen came to him at last like a shipwrecked sailor finding himself safely beached on beloved, familiar shores.”

~Review~Dark & Dazzling (Sassy Boyz #2) by Elizabeth Varlet

~Review by Dia~Dark & Dazzling (Sassy Boyz #2) by Elizabeth Varlet

5 BIG stars

*** I received an ARC via NetGalley in exchange of an honest review. ***

I love, love, love Elizabeth Varlet. Her writing style is just my favorite!

I absolutely adored Fierce & Fabulous and I couldn’t wait to read the second book in this series. The waiting drove me crazy! So to say I was surprised when I received the ARC via NetGalley is an understatement.

At first I read the free chapters on the author’s page, the first two or tree. Reading the beginning of this story made me crazy with the need to read more. The beginning of this story is HOT, with just the right amount of hotness and mystery, to make you want for more! I was dying to see how Hot Fudge will give into Azariah’s beauty and sassiness.

Azariah/ Z wears the scars of his past in his soul. He wants to prove to himself that he can make his own future, he fights so bad to be independent. When he’s not dancing with the Sassy Boys, he works as a waiter in a restaurant where he meets Connelly.

Connely is not so out and proud because he works in the police department. But seeing Z wearing makeup and heels makes him want to get to know him better. The attraction was HUGE and Z’s smart mouth made me love this story more.

Why is this story named “DARK”? Because Z makes some crazy decisions and I was so afraid he’ll end up hurt and broken. I was right. I don’t approve with his behavior but he felt he didn’t have any choice.

Just like Ansel in the first book, Z doesn’t believe in relationships even he feels something powerful for Connelly. He feels he doesn’t have the right to happiness and this broke my heart.
On the other hand I was surprised by Connelly’s kindness. He wanted to help Z and even if he also made me SO mad at one point, by keeping Z in the darkness about the investigations, I got to accept his choices. I am sorry only because they both fought their feeling for too long. I couldn’t wait to see them give in!

I loved the dual POV and the way the author described Z’s breakdown. Her talent is undeniable!

I can’t wait to read more!

The Flesh Cartel #1: Capture (The Flesh Cartel #1)

by Rachel Haimowitz & Heidi Belleau

5 DARK and full of PAIN stars!

DARK erotic, BDSM and NONCONSENT – such a FRIGHTENING cocktail!
This story is disturbing and heartbreaking!!

I was very curious about this series after my friend Ralu recommended it to me. She told me this is not an easy read and it may not be my cup of tea, even if I don’t get scared easily. In fact, I am pretty hard to shock. But THIS BOOK SHOCKED THE HELL OUTTA ME!!!

I fell in love with the writing style of Rachel Haimowitz & Heidi Belleau. They created such a heart-wrenching story!!!

I just … I can’t even put into words what this book did to me. It tore my heart open and made me want to cry for Mat and Dougie!
I hated the plot, of course. I hoped with every chapter they will escape and find a place to hide from the tortures, but nothing prepared me for ALL the pain they had to endure.

I already read some of the next books and I am amazed and still shocked by the way this story is developed. As you are a witness to ALL the horrors but your hands are cuffed and it pains you so much that you can’t intervene and stop everything!

I can’t give it less than 5 STARS because these authors are geniuses!

Misfits by Garrett Leigh

4 stars for this story

I liked it pretty much but still I always felt something was missing. For a menage book, I didn’t really feel their strong connection. I liked Tom and Jake together, I liked Tom and his boyfriend Cass together. I really liked Jake and Cass together, even if I would have wanted to read many more scenes with the last two. But all three together… didn’t make me turn the pages as I would have liked.

It was a sad and deep story of three very different men who learned to function together.

The truth is I expected more and I wanted much more. It seems like it didn’t work for me. I’ve seen so many 5 stars reviews and I feel bad I really can’t say it blew my mind, unfortunately.

I have read only one other menage male/male story and it remained in my heart: Broken Pieces.
