Sexy, seductive and hiding dark secrets, the Sassy Boyz return to the stage in Brave & Beautiful
There’s only one relationship that matters to Tameron “Tam” Kis—his love affair with dance. Life’s been pretty shitty, but dance got him through it and now he’s ready to focus on what he loves. He doesn’t have the bandwidth for any distractions—especially not his sexy, not-quite-straight new neighbor.
Driver Ellis doesn’t need anything but his bike and the open road. He wouldn’t trade his drifter lifestyle for anything…until his friend calls in a favor and Driver suddenly finds himself pet-sitting. Driver isn’t thrilled being stuck in one place, though things start to look up when he sets eyes on the gorgeous girl next door.
There’s just one problem… She isn’t a girl at all.
All it takes is one spontaneous dance to turn both Driver’s and Tam’s worlds upside down. They might not have been looking for love, but as things heat up between them, it’s clear life has very different plans.

It’s no secret I absolutely adore femme men so this series is totally my thing and I think Tam has just become my new favorite Sassy Boy.

Tam is the group’s choreographer and has a quiet determination about him. He desperately wants the Sassy Boys to get back on track with regular work. He’s sweet and a little bit shy and doesn’t seem to realize how stunning he is. Due to a traumatic past, he feels no sexual desire but things are about to change when he meets Driver.

Genre ~ Contemporary M/M Romance
Kindle Edition, 262 pages

Z doesn’t need a hero…

Azariah “Z” Hayes is a diamond. Equal parts strength and sparkle, he’s more than capable of standing on his own stilettos. So if waiting tables and stripping at The Vibe are what it takes to keep a roof over his head, well, there are worse ways to earn a living.

Connelly is a white knight with a badge…

31300423For NYPD detective Connelly Reid, to serve and protect is just another day at the office—even if that means protecting himself from his own true desires. He’s been curious about Z, his waiter, for months, but it’s not until he sees him in his makeup and heels that the curiosity becomes a fierce attraction. Z, despite all his over-the-top dazzle, might just be the man Connelly has been waiting for his entire life.

But when Connelly investigates underground porn and drug activity with ties to The Vibe, one thing becomes very clear—acting on what he knows is going to hurt Z, financially and emotionally. And though Connelly would love nothing more than to fix all of Z’s problems, no amount of mind-blowing sex can make Z comfortable becoming dependent on his lover. Yet if there’s one thing Connelly knows from his years on the force, it’s this: when things go bad, you need a trusted partner to have your back.

5 BIG stars

*** I received an ARC via NetGalley in exchange of an honest review. ***

I love, love, love Elizabeth Varlet. Her writing style is just my favorite!

I absolutely adored Fierce & Fabulous and I couldn’t wait to read the second book in this series. The waiting drove me crazy! So to say I was surprised when I received the ARC via NetGalley is an understatement.

At first I read the free chapters on the author’s page, the first two or tree. Reading the beginning of this story made me crazy with the need to read more. The beginning of this story is HOT, with just the right amount of hotness and mystery, to make you want for more! I was dying to see how Hot Fudge will give into Azariah’s beauty and sassiness.

Azariah/ Z wears the scars of his past in his soul. He wants to prove to himself that he can make his own future, he fights so bad to be independent. When he’s not dancing with the Sassy Boys, he works as a waiter in a restaurant where he meets Connelly.

Connely is not so out and proud because he works in the police department. But seeing Z wearing makeup and heels makes him want to get to know him better. The attraction was HUGE and Z’s smart mouth made me love this story more.

Why is this story named “DARK”? Because Z makes some crazy decisions and I was so afraid he’ll end up hurt and broken. I was right. I don’t approve with his behavior but he felt he didn’t have any choice.

Just like Ansel in the first book, Z doesn’t believe in relationships even he feels something powerful for Connelly. He feels he doesn’t have the right to happiness and this broke my heart.
On the other hand I was surprised by Connelly’s kindness. He wanted to help Z and even if he also made me SO mad at one point, by keeping Z in the darkness about the investigations, I got to accept his choices. I am sorry only because they both fought their feeling for too long. I couldn’t wait to see them give in!

I loved the dual POV and the way the author described Z’s breakdown. Her talent is undeniable!

I can’t wait to read more!

I love this series….men wearing makeup, long hair, and dancing in heels …..just my thing and couple them with a hot rugged man and I’m practically growling.

Azariah/Z was introduced in book one and I couldn’t wait for his story.
A bit like Ansel(from book one) he’s had a troubled past but has managed to turn his life around. But he’s at a low point when this book opens.Without giving too much away he’s put in an almost impossible position which causes him to make a monumental decision. He’s way too proud to ask for help and wants to be in control of his own life.

Connelly is the good guy.Always there to help and try and ‘fix’ people.
He’s already been a bit captivated by Z who works at a diner he goes to but his fascination goes into overdrive when he sees Z in his heels and makeup.

While this is definitely harder hitting than book one I didn’t find it particularly dark, although Z’s actions were a bit difficult to read at times.
Z definitely went on more of an emotional journey in this one.The conclusion was HFN and I’m really interested in, hopefully, hearing more from these two men in future books.

Oh, and I want a Connelly of my own…..just perfect!!

If you enjoyed Fierce & Fabulous I’m sure you’ll enjoy this one…

This was just delicious…

Is not like any character I’ve read about in M/M books before.Long blonde hair, likes to wear makeup, dresses flamboyantly and just LOVES his heels. He knows from a young age he was different.Ignored and belittled by his own parents on his 17th birthday he leaves home.

In the subsequent years his life has been a struggle but at the age of 23 he’s trying to get his life back on track but he still can’t let go of his past.

He’s a male stripper along with 3 close friends who are the Sassy Boyz

Is nearly 30.He’s always there for other people…his parents, sister. He’s never really put himself first. He’s straight and has never been attracted to a man before…all that changes when Ansel rocks his world.

He’s out celebrating his Lesbian sisters birthday in a gay club feeling very uncomfortable when he first sees Ansel.
He’s fascinated and turned on by the gorgeous blonde woman(he thinks) on stage. And to his confusion, he’s still turned on when he finds out it’s a man. What follows is a highly erotic lap dance…..He becomes completely captivated by Ansel and can’t stop thinking about him.

Ansel is very attracted to Fitch but because of his past thinks, he’s too damaged for anyone to love him.

“The real me is an alcoholic stripper who wears too much makeup and prances around in heels, not exactly the kind of person parents want dating their formally straight son.”

So this is a GFY story with instant lust but what sets it apart from a lot of similar books is that you can really feel the strong connection and pull these two men have for each other, from their very first encounter.
The sex is both sweet and deliciously dirty…perfect…..

Some brilliant secondary characters and I can’t wait for the rest of the boy’s stories.
Highly Recommended….
