~Synopsis~

Growing up the outcast in an infamous family of psychics, Nate Black never learned how to control his empath abilities. Then after five years without contact, his estranged twin turns up dead in New York City. The claim of suicide doesn’t ring true, especially when a mysterious vision tells Nate it was murder. Now his long-hated gift is his only tool to investigate. Hitching from his tiny Texas town, Nate is picked up by Trent, a gorgeous engineer who thrives on sarcasm and skepticism. The heat that sparks between them is instant and intense, and Nate ends up trusting Trent with his secrets—something he’s never done before. But once they arrive in the city, the secrets multiply when Nate discovers an underground supernatural community, more missing psychics, and frightening information about his own talent.

Nate is left questioning his connection with Trent. Are their feelings real, or are they being propelled by abilities Nate didn’t realize he had? His fear of his power grows, but Nate must overcome it to find his brother’s killer and trust himself with Trent’s heart.

A perfectly clear image has been on my mind since I started reading this story.

Probably the first image you will find if you google “NY piers”. Beautiful (of course, it’s New York) but nothing special unless you are being transported to that place while reading the first chapter of Insight. In that moment Santino got me. I loved the idea. I really liked that first vision and how it dragged me into this new world.

All my reading has been conditioned by Theo’s “first appearance”. And even if Theo wasn’t the best person, neither the best brother, I’ve been mourning him all the way. He’s been present in my head every single page. But the main reason that made me loved Insight was the magistral mix of nostalgia, darkness and the obscure sadness covering all the story.

The world building in this first installment of The Community is captivating and fast paced. The universe Santino describes is totally absorbent and original.

Everything has a dark atmosphere that you can almost breathe. But that darkish background, mixed with the simple and direct to the point dialogues, makes the setting and the story itself easy, intense and more attractive. And I loved it because this book succeeded where others didn’t. This novel transported me to a place, to a different world. That’s the magic of books, and this one did that for me. During all my reading I was visualizing the story as a movie and not any random movie, but one I would truly enjoy.

Nathaniel Black is our narrator, in this new Series by Santino Hassell.

Lucky Blue Smith:

He is a psychic who read paranormal M/M romance. He is an empath who listens Japanese rock metal. He is a social unskilled guy who has been bullied all his life. Bullied for being gay, and bullied for being a “Black”.That’s Nate, ladies and gentleman, my lovely and adored Nate.

So, this beautiful character who lives in Santino’s personal Village of the Damned  (bleached people included) meets a New Yorker called Trent.

Sarcastic, beautiful and apparently supernormal Trent….

The couple starts a journey that takes them from Texas to New York (the word “journey” is used here in both ways, literally and metaphorically). We don’t get to know Trent’s POV in this story, but I didn’t miss it too much because you get to know him through Nate’s eyes.

In this setting Santino’s use of the dialogues is vital. They are the “lung” insufflating air in this story. They are the axis since we all are Nate and we need to know trough him (thoughts and conversations) who the rest is, what they want… At first, I thought some of the interactions were a bit forced but everything flows naturally once I accustomed to the rhythm and the writing.

I wouldn’t say theirs in insta-love because it’s not (there is no love implied at first) but they do connect instantly, they bond since the beginning. Trent trusts in Nate’s word, he believes in him.  He is Noah’s partner in crime or, in this case, I should say, his partner solving the crime (he calls himself “the amusing sidekick“). And they are super cute together.
But I must say that even if there are love and hot sex in this book, the love story between Noah and Trent is not the epicenter of this book. Insight is the set up for The Community, the scenario for the whole series so I could say that this first installment has in it a huge dose of paranormal mystery with, of course, the basis of a good MM romance. And it didn’t disappoint me at all.

I’m really hoping book two will follow the footsteps of this one.

I’m not giving away anything substantial about the plot.

I’ve preferred to discover this book by myself and I’m giving you the same opportunity. I’ll just say I was absorbed by the simple (and also magical) narrative. I was completely into it at the end of chapter one (I loved the end of chapter one).

The characters in Insight are perfectly defined even if they have no voice. Noah is the deepest character, sure, but the book is full of great and intriguing characters. The lack of other POVs it’s probably a need in the story because this way is easier for the plot to thrive and for the thriller to prosper.

The only snag that I found is that, at one point, I was ahead in the “investigation”. I was solving the puzzle before Nate, and yelling at him to fit the clues in the big picture… but anyway, I love him and I´m sure he has forgiven me already for all the presumptuous “I knew it“.

In the last three weeks I have read, 3 completely different genres by Santino Hassel: Sports Romance, Cyberlove, and now this Paranormal/Thriller novel.

I can say without any doubt that he knows how to write whatever he wants, that’s for sure and I will happily wait for any book he throws in my way. 😀imageedit_36_4496991228

Joey James has given up on his ‘Prince Charming’. There is no such thing, he needs to be realistic about his chances of finding a lasting relationship. A chance encounter with a former school mate at the local grocery store changes everything-maybe.
Before Joey can decide what to do about it, he is swept into a terrifying scheme. Forced into helping a dangerous stranger in exchange for his family’s safety, Joey begins a perilous journey into the criminal underbelly of Skagit. He will do whatever is needed to protect his family.

Buck Swanfeldt had a secret crush on Joey James in high school. Buck’s social anxiety and two-year age difference made it impossible for him to approach Joey then. Life since high school has been challenging, and lonely. Eight years later, fate brings them together and Buck decides to act. He utterly fails. He would have left it at that, except fate seems to be intent on pushing Joey in his direction, and clearly, Joey needs someone at his back.

Dark, sordid secrets hiding in Skagit are bubbling to the surface, danger lurks in unexpected places. Buck has never been anyone’s hero but something about Joey has him throwing caution to the wind. Together the two men take on a dangerous force greater than themselves. But sometimes our worst enemy is ourselves.

Everyone has secrets. Secrets that should never be brought into the light of day.

Secrets that are lurking under the surface of a small town and threaten to unravel its countryside idyll and ideal world.Secrets two men involuntarily participate in, which not only causes quite a stir but will change their life forever.

7388-headlines_bad_hand_bw.630w.tn.jpg (630×315)

For Joey James, the nurse we already met in the previous book Storm Season, two things almost happen at once: a random encounter at a grocery store with a former schoolmate who never even was on his radar, but whom he suddenly cannot get out of his head and an alarming picture on the windshield of his car meant to blackmail him into helping out a criminal individual or otherwise his family would come to harm. Both are things Joey is in over his head, but it soon becomes apparent that the former will – and is even bound and determined to- help him coping with the latter.

Hazel Eyes

Joey, the nestling of a big family, is a caring person by nature. That is the reason why he will be exploited over and over again by his much older siblings to take care of his parents. That is the reason why he takes in a stray, although there a no dogs allowed in his apartment. That is also the reason why he loves his job at the hospital, which causes him lately more trouble than he prefers.

“He’d been thinking with his heart, with the part of him that hated pain and suffering, with the part of him that fiercely protected those he loved. It wasn’t stupid to care. That’s how he was built: he cared, often too much and too soon.”

But Joey is lonely. The prospects to find someone who wants to share your life as a gay young man in a small town are pretty rare. When he meets a shy and socially awkward man who apparently knows him from yore and who immediately takes flight after a moment of embarrassment, he is curious about the conundrum that is Buck Swanfeldt, owner of the local garage. Fate seems to be intent on bringing both men together and after bumping into each other repeatedly, Buck slowly but surely becomes a safe haven for Joey.

As much as I loved Joey, it was Buck I loved more.

Maybe because I could totally relate to him, being more on the shy side and socially awkward myself. I know how it would feel to screw up one’s courage to address someone you had a crush on for years. I could virtually feel his embarrassment, but I admired him for doing something that would have been a milestone in his life, but I could also understand his need to bolt when sliding into an awkward situation.

Buck always felt a bit like an outcast. He learned early on in his life that appearance is everything. His parents always pretended outwardly to be a loving family, while a look behind the curtain would have revealed a father who liked to bully his son at every chance he got and a mother who stood idly by.

“Buck learned early to be seen and not heard, to listen for the undercurrents, to be very careful how he presented to his family and to Skagit. He figured they would never accept him for who he was, only who they wanted him to be.”

I loved Buck for his fortitude to make something of his life, despite the low self-esteem his parents conveyed at him at every turn. He is the gentle giant you tend to underestimate and who never recognizes himself how gorgeous he really is.

Travis Fimmel...just drag me off to the cave.

And it was far from easy. Buck also lived constantly in fear of ending up like his father, but his inner strength helps him to acknowledge that he needs professional helps to overcome his social anxiety and to get a chance at a love-filled life. Oh, and I loved him for grabbing the chance at love when it presented itself…

It was great to be back in Skagit. Elle Keaton creates an atmosphere that makes you not only just read the story, but feel like being part of it, like being there. Well, I could have done without all the rain and snow, but that just conveyed a feeling of reality. 😉 And the great characters did one more thing to make it authentic. I loved the humor in the story and the tentative pace the author brought the relationship between Joey and Buck forward. This might have happened a bit at the expense of steam, but it did not bother me one bit.

Joey and Buck’s relationship was just sweet and both are the perfect match.

The mystery part that forged a bridge between the first two books in this series was wrapped up nicely, but it took a bit of a backseat regarding the romance and all in all it was the perfect combination of both.

There are also a lot of interesting side characters I would love to read more about.

Some of them I already shipped so hard, I can hardly wait to see if I am right and I wonder if -no,…

…I hope– all of them will get their own book…

I have been curious about Cam, after meeting him in book 1. I really wanted to know what was up with this seemingly sweet top and his boss John.

Cam has been working as a top for “Blue Boys” for some time. He is the nice guy that always gets asked to top the new bottoms, but lately…

He has kinda lost his way…

6361154457716983681784446514_tumblr_mb6sa69G2r1qgz9oa.gif (500×275)

The only thing he feels he has going for him at the moment is his weird and unhealthy relationship with his (asshole) boss John.

Things change though when he meets Sasha, a BMX’er, who has nothing to do with the porn industry.

3326462.gif (500×281)

These two hit it off right away, but Sasha pushes, when they become too close.  Sasha has some issues though, and soon it will become clear that they have more in common than they thought.

Ub5uB7Z.jpg (312×319):

I liked Cam and how open was about his porn career, but just like in the previous book, I wanted to know more about Cam. These books aren’t very deep and I also have to say that they are quite light on the romance. I think I would have liked them better as full novels.

For those who have read book 1…yes there, we do get some Levi and Sonny…HOT.

Levi Ramone entered the gay porn market for one reason, and one reason only: he needed the cash to pay his momma’s spiraling gambling debts.

Seven years later, he’s a veteran with a reputation as one of Blue Boy Studio’s most ruthless tops, and when his boss suggests it’s time for a change, he finds himself staring down the barrel of a gun. Figuratively speaking, at least.

Enter Sonny Valentine, a go-go dancer at Blue’s sister club, Silver’s. Levi has secretly admired Sonny from afar for years, but there’s a problem. He can’t stand Sonny and the feeling is entirely mutual. When Levi learns Sonny is to play the third part in a scene he already considers his worst nightmare, he figures things can’t get any worse.

But when preparations for the scene from hell collide with tragic events in his personal life, he finds his fast-growing, red-hot attraction to Sonny just might be the only thing left between him and a bullet.

After reading the blurb, and knowing this was a short story, I figured this novella was gonna be one big pornfest, without any real plot.

I was wrong…

tumblr_inline_mw9wozkZ8F1qajlcl.gif (500×260)

Levi has been working as a pornstar for “Blue Boys” for some time now. He became a pornstar because he needed the money. His father committed suicide and his mother is an awful drunk with plenty of debts, that needed to be paid off.

Getting to have sex for money, seems like and an easy and enjoyable way to make your money…right.

FOTO BEWERKEN - makkelijk online je foto's bewerken of aanpassen:

Levi has always been a top, and not a very gentle one either. He has never given his actions much thought though. That is until Sonny, a fellow porn star, and dancer comments on Levi’s skills as a top.

These two don’t start out o the right foot, but when Levi is scheduled to have his first time bottoming filmed…

Sonny is the one who steps up and tries to help the man out.

let-me-help-251.gif (245×180)

Of course, there is sex in this book, I mean it’s about the porn industry, but that wasn’t all that this book was about.  Levi had plenty of issues outside of his work, that needed his attention, but still with everything going on in his head…he managed to really listen to Sonny.

kRIONyLand

This is a short book though, so don’t expect anything deep character wise. To be honest, I would have liked to know more about Sonny. Everything is in Levi’s pov and I didn’t really understand why Sonny did the things he did and how he was actually feeling.

I absolutely loved Amy Lane’s “Johnnies” series, which this can be compared to a little bit. Though this series is way less angsty and not as deep. I think it would be perfect for those who have avoided the “Johnnies” series, because of the angst.

I am very much looking forward to reading book 2. 😀

imageedit_44_8150275859

An auspicious start to a new series…

@n3fariovs

… is part of his job, but he is also confronted with it where he expected it least of all…

Dedicated to his job, but worn out FBI Agent Adam Klay is called from the middle of a crime scene to return to his small hometown in order to settle the assets of his deceased estranged father. To say being back generates mixed feelings in him would be quite an understatement and he clutches at every straw to shuffle out of the situation of dealing with the estate and facing up to his past.

One of these distractions is Micah Ryan…

A totally adorbs, clumsy as hell man with an aura of sadness, who stirs up feelings in Adam he was not prepared for. No, he did not expect to find murder in this hick town of his youth, but he expected to find love even less.

Matthew Gray Gubler - From criminal minds. Niccccce :)

Micah is also completely taken by surprise when he discovers that he cannot get the stranger with the piercing expression out of his head, who evokes such intense emotions in him he never experienced before. Even after a stretch of ten years he is not really able to get over the death of his family due to a car crash and lives more or less the life of a recluse. Normally, opening up to someone is not easy for him, but there is something about Adam that makes him throw caution to the wind and want to trust this guy.

When bodies are piling up, when it seems like there would be more to this sleepy town than meets the eye and Micah is put in the crosshairs of somebody who attempts on his life, Adam is forced to give his all to keep him safe, especially when it becomes clear that all events seem to be connected somehow.

I had my ups and downs with Storm Season, but overall it was an enjoyable read and a promising debut from a new author.

I particularly loved her dry sense of humor and the snark made me laugh out loud quite often. This book is rather long, but it did not feel this way. The chapters are short with alternating POVs of Adam and Micah and this contributes to giving this story a fast-paced aspect. There happens quite a lot in this book and as for me, it was sometimes a bit too much telling and not enough showing, but the embroilments and the mystery part are still nicely done.

What dimmed my enjoyment a bit was one of my favorite pet peeves…

Guess what! Yes, insta-love.

Since authors use it quite often, I slowly but surely have the impression that it is just poor me who never experienced this kind of phenomenon and therefore cannot relate to it in any sort. This kind of obsession with each other after bumping into one another two or three times and two nights together is simply not realistic for me. I get insta-attraction, yes, but insta-love? Not so much…

To be fair, though, I have to admit that Adam and Micah are good -not to say perfect- for each other to get over their past. Adam helps Micah coming out of his shell and on the other hand, Micah helps Adam finding back to his true self. He helps him appreciating himself and his past and even this dump of a hometown he tried to escape from ages ago. Accomplishing that in another –slower– way would have made it just more plausible for me.

With the case not really solved yet and a killer still on the loose, I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

Holly ….HOTNESS!

Wow… This book was H O T!

...:

Wow this book…was just amazing.

The first thing that drawn me to read this book was the cover, and I didn’t even read the blurb. The whole ride was just what I needed. Once in a while, I have a state of mind a little difficult. I want to read all the books in the world, or at least the ones that I’m interested in, that drawn me, but I don’t feel like reading at all. But with THE BANDIT I had a deadline. And I’m so happy it was an amazing rollercoaster of feelings because thanks to books like this one, my appetite for reading books is back.

The story starts with Mains father, who goes to prison because he murdered his best friend, Angel’s father. Did he really kill his best friend? And if he did it, what was his reason? From the moment her father went to jail, Mains life changes from bad to worse. So after months of struggling to survive, she is desperate. And desperate situations lead to desperate measures. She decides to steal from her worse enemy, but she is caught.

And now she has to pay.

Image added in Photography Inspiration Collection in Photography Category:

Angel…Angel is the opposite of his name.

What a beautiful name for the devil himself. He is dangerous, jerk, possessive, dominant, vengeful, gorgeous, sexy, rough, persistent, calculated, kinky, ruthless, stubborn. What he wants it’s what he gets. And he seeks revenge. But he seeks it in the wrong place.

can we just take a moment to let how attractive this man is sink in?:

Main and Angel are our heroes. They were destined to be together.

Destined by faith but also by their fathers. Their fathers were best friends, partners in business and the most feared of all the people. They ruled the city, the world. They killed, they stole, they ruled the dirty businesses. From the first time they laid eyes on each other, they knew that they were destined to be together. But Angel wanted to be in his father businesses, so he had to prove to his father that he was capable of that, and his test was to babysit Main.

The attraction and the desire were the most feared enemies of Angel, so he keeps pushing Main away and makes her hate him. She’s only a kid. Most of the time, it worked, but as years pass by and Main grows into a beautiful teenager thru a woman…

…things get complicated.

dk:

This book story had me glued to her from the first page thru the last one. I couldn’t put it down, couldn’t get enough of her.It was written from dual POV. The story was alternating from the past thru the present. The story was interesting and can’t wait to discover the continuing. I didn’t expect that ending but…DAMN.

Z and Lucas were some crazy and  HOT bonus.  Can’t wait to read the next book, and I really hope to see one day the story of Z and Lucas.

What I loved about the book?…Everything!

The story was amazing, captivating, hot, suspenseful….just PURE PLEASURE.

A truly moving love story

There is a note to the reader at the start of this book, from the Author.I’m only going to quote her final words and hopefully, that will be enough to convince anyone to read this amazing book.

No one will die in this book. You will not journey with Landon to his end.Instead, you will walk beside him and watch him live.

I knew reading this would be painful for me as someone very close to me had the exact same illness Landon has.I knew all those memories would come flooding back and they did but I wouldn’t have missed reading this for anything.

Landon is 26 and has a terminal illness.

He’s working his way through his bucket list and while he’s in China he meets Abel. Abel is like a breath of fresh air….he’s pushy but so endearing. Landon is happy in his own company, he’s resigned to the fact he can’t let anyone get close to him.

But Abel has other ideas…

After their initial encounter they bump into each other again and no matter how hard he tries Landon can’t seem to deter Abel. One of the things on his bucket list is to have sex with a stranger so Landon thinks why not?

It was only supposed to be a one night stand…

Landon and Abel are two of the most engaging characters I’ve read about and together they are perfect.
I had a lump in my throat more than once reading this.

I felt…
Every emotion.
Every struggle.
Every happy moment.
Every sad moment.

The message is a strong one and it’s so beautifully written.

Life is for living!

Take every moment, and if you’re lucky enough to find that special person to share it with-grasp it with both hands and don’t let go.

“I love you, Abel, as much as you’ve made this harder on me, you’ve made my life a million times brighter. No regrets, okay?”

This book ended with hope for me.
Hope, that these two amazing men get to share their lives'(however short) together.

Landon and Abels’ story is just beautiful.

Highly recommended!

I don’t do relationships…especially not with egotistical jerks like my new boss, Damian Wood. The man is vile, arrogant, condescending… and scorching hot. If he weren’t my boss and a grade-A a*&hole, I would turn on my world-famous charm and seduce the pants right off the man. But giving in to his undeniable allure might just cost me my job. Or worse yet, my heart.

I’m a prick…and Janice Holder’s new boss. Which means I should stay away, but I’ve never claimed to be a nice guy. If I don’t get my twisted fascination under control, it will only be a matter of time before I bend her over my desk and screw her. Hard. The way I’ve imagined no fewer than a thousand times since we met. I’m playing with fire and neither of us can afford to get burned, but landing in hot water might just be worth the risk.

Faking It with Damian is a full-length, standalone office romance. It contains steamy scenes with a ton of heat and strong language intended for mature audiences.

Faking It with Damian by D.J. Hunnam

****3.5 Stars****

The book starts with Janice.

Imagine similară

A beautiful blond girl with green eyes and a smoking hot body (of course she has a perfect body, she’s a Zumba instructor part time). Her dad abandoned her and her mother when she was a little girl. She doesn’t do relationships, she’s afraid of commitment, she thinks everyone will abandon her. But she also doesn’t have time for anyone in her life, because she takes care of her mother, who is dying.  She also hates her boss because he’s making her life miserable at work. But as much as she hates him, as much she is attracted to him.

Damian is Janice new boss.

Imagini pentru hot guy dark hair with blue eyes

He’s a very sexy god with dark hair and blue eyes who takes every woman’s breath away. He is also an arrogant asshole, demanding, dominant and vile. As much as he try’s to stay as far away as possible from Janice, he is more and more attracted to her, and he does everything in his power to have her. Even lie to her and drag her in some funny games. Damian also had a hard life. His parents hating him all his life, and much more when his grandfather left all his fortune to him.

When the opportunity strikes, he doesn’t kick it away, he takes advantage and attracts Janice in his trap.

Every opportunity that he has.

“Kneel”

L〰:

What a demanding asshole. That scene…so intense.

The story with Damian wife was interesting, and although I don’t like drama, this one I enjoyed.

The book was intense but in the end...it softened. The sex action was good and hot…but to much licking. I liked that, don’t get me wrong, but I wanted much action in the real sex part. It was a scene when I thought that I would get some menage action, but damn…..no.

Interesting story with her father and the reason why he left her and her mother. That one I was not expecting. The book was good. The chemistry and the attraction between them were hot and intense, but I didn’t get Janice most of the time.

The book was funny, was good written, I liked the story, I liked the hero…but not so much the heroine.

Misfits (Urban Soul #1) by Garrett Leigh

****4 Stars****4-fjf

This was my first book by Garrett Leigh, and she most certainly did not disappoint.

I know she is a writer that has the ability to dig into a character and draw out deep emotions that make them come alive on the page.  I, however, am a complete and total baby with a mushy heart that easily breaks…so I’ve tended to avoid more angsty stories.

I haven’t read a ménage book in years,…

…so I was coming into this one with an open mind not having other books in this genre on my mind.  The problem I have run into with this type of book is I am a true romantic at heart, that being said I am also possessive, competitive and do not share well – especially the love of my life.  Let’s be honest, ménage books are on a slippery slope, it can often be difficult to bring out a real romance and relationship.  So; I was very happily surprised when that was exactly what this book was going for, and I’ll be damned….she was able to do it!!

Tom and Cass have been together for nine years, they live together, own businesses together and are totally committed to each other.  They met when they were very young, and fell fast in love, but were too young to settle down….so they didn’t.  This led them to have an open relationship, they are very honest with each other and share everything.

school work confused real housewives of orange county rhoc

I personally don’t get it, but hey it totally works for them.

They hook up with blokes from time to time and on occasion, even together, but it’s not often they find someone they both like, so that’s rare.

Their businesses were thriving keeping them very busy and often away from each other.

One night while Tom is at dinner Tom researching his next project he meets Jake, they seem to have a connection right from the start.  Flirting leads to spending the night together, but in the morning Jake wakes up to not Tom in the room with him but Cass.  He has no idea about their open arrangement and can’t get out of there fast enough.  He can’t help but think Tom has cheated with him and is none too happy with the situation.

“It’s not cheating, Jake.  We choose to live this way.  It might not make sense to you, but it works for us.”

Jake doesn’t really understand the situation between them, but Tom isn’t ready to give Jake up, and Jake is equally interested in Tom.  Tom is torn between his quickly growing feelings for Jake and how it can fit into his relationship with Cass, he can’t live two separate lives.  Cass seems to be trying to push Jake and Tom together, and Jake is confused by his feeling for both men.

Circumstances arise for Jake, and while Tom is a fixer at heart, wanting to help and save everyone he loves, Cass is the person that ends up being there for Jake. Jake and Cass start to grow a beautiful friendship, but Jake doesn’t feel right getting in between Tom and Cass, he sees they have a very loving relationship.  But he notices that something is going on under the surface. Cass seems to be holding himself back, blocking himself from Tom, and Jake can see and fell the underlying tension.

“I’m not punishing you, Cass.  I just don’t want to be alone, and neither do you, so why are we both so lonely?”

The three become a family of sorts and you can watch the transitions from friend to lover, Cass and Jake build a slow bond that grows of its own accord, nothing was forced.  Tom and Jake, from the start they had feelings fast and strong but were able to grow into something more.  They all needed to work on different aspects of their lives,…

…and truly that was what the majority of this story centered around.

They did all come together, and believe me when I say, it was hot..hot…SO HOT!!!

wow fan oh christina aguilera ooh

This really ended up being a journey of acceptance and understanding not everyone has the same definition of love and family. This relationship with the three of them was what they needed to be happy and complete.Image result for 1+1+1“Tom knew Cass was the love of his life and Jake…Jake had taught them to love each other better.  Jake had taught them how to live.”

They found a way to make it work, different was normal for them.
