~Synopsis~

When you stand on the edge, you might just find yourself falling.
Teaching Russians how to be cowboys? Levi thinks his father is joking when he tells him that’s what he wants him to do for the next six months. Working in the frozen desolation of southwest Russia he’ll earn enough to buy a new barn for their Montana ranch. But there’s a deeper agenda for sending him to the edge of nowhere. It will stop him sloping off on Saturday nights to gay bars and clubs for threesomes with strangers.
Pasha finally pushes his father too far and is banished to a remote ranch in the middle of a snowy Russian winter. Stripped of all the trappings of his privileged Moscow lifestyle, he has nothing at his disposal but a suitcase of designer clothes and a whole lot of sass. Pasha hates the countryside, hates physical work, hates the cold and hates cows. But de-prived of money, phone, and access to anyone who might help him, he’s screwed and not in a good way.
Levi’s counting down the days till he can return to the States and his Saturday night hook-ups. Then Pasha arrives at the ranch wearing eyeliner, retching every time he walks into a barn, and Levi is amused, irritated—and attracted. After a vicious attack on Pasha throws them into close quarters, both men are forced to re-evaluate not just who the other is, but whether they truly want to return to the lives they left behind.
When you stand on the edge, you just might find yourself falling in love.

I am a huge Barbara Elsborg fan! So when I found out she had written a new book, I knew I had to read it! She is a genius,  I mean nobody does PNR the way she does it, and Inigo is still one of my all-time favorite characters. For those of you who don’t have a clue who I am talking about…go read “Bloodline” !! Actually, you should read that whole series, because Ezra is pretty awesome as well…All Barbara’s PNR books are favorites of mine!

I have read a number of books by this author that I really enjoyed and when I read the blurb for this one, I got really excited. I mean “rock stars” are a definitely a weakness of mine…Add the words “rough and damaged” and I am sold! I couldn’t wait to open this baby up!

I have been waiting to read Trick’s book ever since I read Marcus’ book. No that’s a big fat lie! I have been waiting to read Trick’s book, ever since I read that naughty little scene in “Feral Sins” (book 1) when Trick and Marcus got down together! Wow, that was awesome. 😉

He’s just a down-on-his-luck lawyer who needed a break from the city and agreed to help his brother work on a few homes in the Hamptons. When he first meets Rian, the attraction is undeniable. But when they start competing for the same pieces of prime real estate, the early sparks turn into full-blown fireworks. Publisher: Self-Published
Genre(s): M/M, Romance, Sci-Fi, Military

Reviewer: ~Wendy~
Rating: ✮4.5 Stars✮

~Synopsis~

Never let go.
Weighed down by scandal, Captain Jamie Callahan must choose between saving his family’s reputation and his father’s political aspirations, or taking down the enemy once and for all. Choosing one over the other will have lasting repercussions he can’t escape. Whatever path Jamie ultimately picks, Staff Sergeant Kyle Brannigan will be right by his side to face the consequences. Kyle knows in a situation like this the only way out is through. Together they can make it to the other side, but surviving that journey will take everything they have.
One last chance.
Agent Sean Delaney is learning what it means to be part of Alpha Team through trial by fire. He wouldn’t change it for the world, nor would he give up the life he’s building with Staff Sergeant Alexei Dvorkin. But their time together is threatened by outside forces they can’t outrun. Having put the nightmare of Boston behind him, Alexei is focused on keeping his family safe, but he can’t have eyes on everyone. Alexei knows he can’t ignore the danger on the horizon, and when it strikes, he is unprepared for the tragedy it leaves in its wake.
Risking it all.
The odds are stacked ever higher against Alpha Team, and outmaneuvering a precog is a daunting, almost impossible task. Jamie knows something has to give, and when it does, it just might break him the way nothing else in his life ever could.
—In the Requiem is a 122k word steamy gay sci-fi military romance with a mostly HEA and concludes this main plot-arc of the series. There is military violence within the story that might not be suitable for everyone, as well as explicit intimate scenes not suitable for readers under the age of 18. This is a direct sequel to In the Blood and Out of the Ashes. Reading the previous books in this series would be helpful in enjoying this one.—

Praise for Object of Desire – “Another twisty, densely plotted, utterly satisfying thriller/romance. Highly recommended.” Elin Gregory, author of Eleventh Hour

Praise for Dal Maclean’s debut novel, Bitter Legacy. – “This is a superbly plotted crime novel where the romance is cleverly integrated rather than an obvious add-on and both elements have equal importance and are written with equal intensity. Dal MacLean, once again, delivers a riveting story-full of mystery, and intrigue that had me second guessing just, about everyone at some point.
Tom Gray is at the top of his game. It might not have been the career he envisaged for himself but he’s a highly successful model. His stunning looks have made him an Object of Desire for a lot of people. Disillusioned by his parent’s relationship he put all his energy into modeling and walked away from the only relationship he had two years ago with a then Police Officer, Will Foster…
