Just because Kate ‘Middleton’ McGrath, wants a man to call ‘daddy’ in bed doesn’t mean—
Oh, you stopped reading. Cool.
Kate gets it. Kinks aren’t for everyone. Hell, they’re probably not for Mr. Henderson, her grumpaholic boss. She really shouldn’t have crush on him, but the man is just so goddamn stern. Sure, a lot of that comes down to ‘being her boss,’ but still, it feels like there might be something there.
Tyler Henderson is a golden boy who’s lost his shine. He’s old, his dream career is over, his fiancée’s left him. Now all the former firefighter is to try and bury his troubles in paperwork and hard liquor. He says ‘try’ because he can’t get Middleton out of his head long enough to wallow properly. He’s not going anywhere near the girl. HR issues aside, he’s done with sweetness and things don’t come sweeter than a cupcake-baking engineer who knits her own hats.
A case of mistaken identity causes Kate and Ty’s attraction to give way to blistering sex. They have more in common—and more to lose—than either of them realized. When it comes to unreasonable attraction you can rarely change your mind but can you act your age?
Eve did it again. She’s an exceptional author. She has a unique style and an even unique and awesome imagination.
I’ve read all her books, and all of them are unique, funny, hot, very well written and with an amazing story and subjects. She does a wonderful job. Her characters are the best.
She became one of my favorite authors. And every time I get a message from her I am so excited. I don’t need to read the blurb, or for her to ask…I just say yes. I know what she is capable of. I don’t have enough words of praise for her and I am very honored that she gives me this chance every time, to read her new book.
After her last books (with the female dominant) don’t get me wrong, I liked the books, but they are nothing compared to this one, or with one where the guy is the Dom. I like much more this ones. This story right here was pure dementia, in a good way, from all points of view, the subject of the story, the characters, everything.
Kate is the sweetest thing. She’s 25 years but looks like 17.
She’s sweet, girly, funny, sexy, smart, young (too young, some say), had a rough childhood, and she has an account on Kinkworld. She has a Daddy kink.
One misunderstanding brings them together. This way discovering each other. Although they fight the attraction between them, they can’t stay away from each other.
Ty is 45 years old and he is a sex god.
Dominant, arrogant, authoritative, rude, sexy, and he is so hot that “everyone had a crush on Tyler Henderson, woman, gay man, straight man”.
Kate had a crush on him since she met him on her first day on the job, two years ago. But as long and as much she desired him, as much he avoided and ignored her. Even to the point of making her think that he hates her. He’s simply a first class A-Hole and he’s Kate’s boss.
Kate was a great character. Weak at times, but most of all, strong. She knew what she wanted and went after it. 😛
I hated Ty most of the time because he was a real jerk. He didn’t treat her bad, no, Daddy was so goooood. But he was afraid of what people may think of their relationship and afraid he will get his heart broke again. He kept her like she was “his dirty little secret”.
I’m very glad Kate woke him up. Loved her letter to him, actually both letters, and especially how he crawled.
So…if you think this book is like the other “Daddy” books, you are so very very wrong. 😀
This book it’s like the Daddy of all Daddy books. So don’t waste any more time, and just read this masterpiece. 😉
