~Synopsis~

This year is all about healing the heart, Scorpio. It’s time to leave negative attitudes and stoic facades at the door and let others see the real, more vulnerable you.
Percy Freedman is not grieving. Absolutely not, take that back at once. No, he’s entirely sure that selling his dead aunt’s home and leaving the neighbors he’s known for years is the sane thing to do. Who in their right mind would keep the house that smells like all the hugs he’ll never have again?
Nobody, that’s who.
Well, except his cul-de-sac neighbors. They all seem to think some paint and new furniture will clean the emotional slate. They all want him to stay.
Even his nemesis, Callaghan Glover.
Especially his nemesis, Callaghan Glover.

Lured into a game of Sherlock Gnomes, Percy finds himself hanging out with his neighbors more than might be considered healthy. Along with juggling new and surprising verbal grenades from Cal, and his burgeoning friendship with Gnomber9, Percy is starting to wonder if selling might have been the grief talking after all . . .
That’s right, Scorpio. With a little patience, heartbreak might be a thing of the past.

“Scorpio Hates Virgo” contains sarcasm, sexual content, a slightly sappy HEA, and an unhealthy obsession with dinosaurs…It can be read as a standalone.

~Synopsis~

You can build a team, but you have to find your home.

Rupert Smythe is fond of many things. Callum Morrison isn’t one of them.
Rupert is a quiet, thoughtful business man and, sadly, a total wimp. Maybe not the ideal candidate to run a professional hockey team, but he signed on to do it anyway. As his life has reminded him on an almost daily basis since, this isn’t the most brilliant idea he’s ever had. And that was before Callum showed up.
Being in the spotlight is just part of being a professional athlete, but Callum needs a break. He arrives in Moncton unannounced, determined to help grow the team he just bought, and under the assumption he’d be welcome. Possibly he should have tried to make a better first impression.
Callum figures he can push through the rest of the summer, never expecting two kids, a host of friends, and his growing feelings for Rupert to derail everything he has ever believed about what he wanted, and what he could have.

This book has been on my TBR list for a long time.

Since I am sure a huge hockey fan, I don’t really know why it took me so long to read this one…other than the fact that I am an idiot.

This is an enemies to lovers story with a broody hockey player and a hot nerd in the mix…how could I have been so stupid!! It was awesome!!

Anyways…I am glad I fixed my mistake…better late than never, right!? 😀

Rupert is a prim and proper English man. He is a former figure skater and an Earl to boot. Right now though he is the manager of the  Canadian “Ice Cats” hockey team. This isn’t the easiest of jobs for him since his past has made him pretty fearful of big scary dudes…and we all know how big and scary those hockey players can get.

So when Callum, a famous hockey player and partial owner of The Ice Cats, steps up to help manage the team…

It’s hate at first sight. 😉imageedit_44_8150275859

I absolutely loved book 1  Leo Loves Aries and I can happily say that this book was just as entertaining as the first. 😉 I just love these stories, they are so cute and funny.

First, let me start by saying that this book can be read as a stand alone. You don’t need to read book 1 to understand the storyline… But take my advice and read book 1 anyway though, because it’s a great book that you don’t want to miss out on!!

This book is about Percy and Callaghan.

Now, for those of you wondering if they are connected in any way to the characters of book 1…yes they are. But it’s a very small connection. Percy neighbors are Theo and Leone’s parents.

~Synopsis~

A new second chance romance standalone from USA Today bestselling author J.M. Darhower.

He’s a troubled young actor, Hollywood’s newest heartthrob, struggling with fame as the star of the latest superhero franchise. Through scandal after scandal, addiction on top of addiction, a flurry of paparazzi hunt him as he fights to conquer his demons.
She’s a single mother, assistant manager at a grocery store, existing in monotony with her five-year-old daughter. Every day when she goes to work, lurid tabloids surround her, the face of a notorious bad boy haunting her from their covers.
A man and a woman, living vastly different lives, but that wasn’t always the case. Once, they were just a boy and a girl who bonded over comic books and fell in love unexpectedly.
When Kennedy Garfield met Jonathan Cunningham back in high school, she knew he had all the makings of a tragic hero. With stars in his eyes, and her heart on her sleeve, the pair ran away together to follow their dreams.
But dreams, sometimes, turn into nightmares.
Now, years later, the only thing they share is a daughter—one who has no idea her father plays her favorite superhero. But Jonathan is desperate to make amends, and at the top of his list is the woman who gave up everything for him and the little girl he hasn’t yet met.

I am a huge sucker for “second chance” romances and this one was absolutely amazing.

It had some nice angs..but not too much and it was the perfect amount of sweet.  It made me laugh but it also made me cry…And anyone who knows me, also knows how much I love my redeemable assholes…and we a perfect one right here!!!

This story is told in both past and present time, though it’s not done in the usual way. The presence is told from both Kennedy and Jonathan’s pov. The past, however, is written by Kennedy in the form of a storybook. I loved that. It was so different and each time we got to a new part, I got excited.
