Dancer Kai is the sweetheart of Blue Boy Studio. Cute and petite, he’s the slender bottom every top loves to pound. But nothing is ever quite as it seems, and beneath his golden curls and giggles lies something else…an edge no one can quite put their finger on.
Is Kai bored? Or does he crave something more?
Blue Boy Studio is under new ownership. Veteran porn star Jude has seen it all before, and with the help of Kai’s mentor, Cam, they figure Kai needs a change. Enter Matthew, a fellow dancer and the newbie on the block.
Kai isn’t impressed. Matthew is hot, but Jude and Cam’s plans seem beyond his reach. Can Kai really do…that? He doesn’t believe it, but with Matthew along for the ride, it’s time to be bold and find out.
Bold (Blue Boy #3) by Garrett Leigh
This is book 3 in the series and this time we get to know more about Kai. The sweet little twink we first met in book 1.
Kai seems to be a bit bored and he might be ready for a change. This leads to him being teamed up with Matthew, another go-go dancer twink. These two start planning a scene together and become fast friends and even much more than that.
They were pretty funny, sweet and hot.
I really liked Kai’s character. He was a sweet guy and I it was sad to see him struggling with his self-esteem a bit. As with the other books, we only get Kai’s pov, but I didn’t mind it so much in this book. I did think it was a bit weird that these guys spend so much time, planning one scene…I don’t think that’s how things work in the “real” porn business, but hey…I could be wrong.
I have also come to notice, that even though these books can be read as stand alone, the MC’s of the former books as well as their relationships, keep developing throughout this series. Case in point…Levi and Sonny’s relationship… who knows what will happen with these two. I don’t know how I feel about this. I don’t really enjoy my HEA’s to be messed with, but then again…they didn’t really have a huge HEA in book 1, it was more an HFN.
All in all, this was an enjoyable read, but I have learned that I am not a big novella’s fan. I much rather read a full novel.
Novella always seems to leave me wanting more…
I have no idea if there will be more books in this series, but I figure there will be since so many things were left open.
