Quintessentially Q (Monsters in the Dark #2)by Pepper Winters
My Rating 5 Stars out of 5
It’s hard to read a book like this. I don’t have words to describe the pain, the horribles things which Tess goes through. Things that happen in real life, that are real, and I believe more horrible in reality. This is not fiction. This is real life, our life, to us all, especially us, women. It wasn’t their choice. They have not chosen to do so.
Monsters are raised not born. They become monsters. They take without asking for approval or care.
A woman is a very strong creature.
We can endure a lot..rough life, period, childbirth, various abuses, deceptions, and after all this, yeah..even kidnapping/abduction, rape, beating, sold, slavery. And after ALL this we have to stay sane, tough/strong, and what do you think….TO MOVE ON. Because we are women.
And you wanna know something more …
ALL this-this atrocities are allowed because we are women. All this happens because of people who are supposed to care for us, protect and defend us. They are the ones who do these things or/and the ones who ignore these things. How many women which are in the same situation as Tess have her luck? A luck like Q. To be saved from that horrible life.
This book is written from Q’s POV but alternates with Tess’s experiences. This book has a more emotional charge than the first book. Q is trying with all his strength to control his interior monster. But he completely lost because Tess makes him lose control.
So they decide to give a try to their relationship they learn to be together, to know each other and to know their limits.
Tess is a unique heroine. Amazing woman. Superwoman.
Ignorance can kill. Our actions have devastating consequences. We, as parents and future parents, are responsible for our future of mankind. We are especially responsible for the way we raise and educate our children.
Mrs. Pepper has a remarkable talent. AMAZING. Only she can show that the beauty exists and can’t grow even in the darkest and ugly places.
